Beni Mrirt rugs are handwoven masterpieces from the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco, where the art of weaving is passed down from mother to daughter through generations. Unlike the nomadic Berber rugs of the plains, Beni Mrirt pieces are known for their exceptional softness, dense pile, and refined geometric designs that blend ancestral symbolism with modern elegance.
Each rug is woven without a pattern, allowing the weaver to express her own interpretation of life — motifs inspired by love, harmony, and the natural rhythm of her surroundings.
Crafted from the finest, hand-spun virgin wool of mountain sheep, these rugs are dyed with pigments extracted from plants and minerals, giving them their warm, natural tones of ivory, beige, and earthy hues. The result is a rug of extraordinary depth, comfort, and character — a timeless piece that brings the soul of the Atlas Mountains into your home.
You're customizing your own size
Each and every Beni rug is woven entirely by hand and then washed and dried in the mountain air. Current estimated lead times are:
- 274 × 366 cm and smaller: 12–16 weeks
- Larger than 274 × 366 cm: 16–20 weeks
Since your rug is hand-crafted, there will be natural, beautiful variations in pattern and color. These are sure signs of an authentic rug made just for you. Final sizes and pile heights can vary by up to 5% from what is ordered.
Can I return my rug?
All orders are final and we cannot accept returns. Please ensure all measurements, colors, and design are correct before submitting your order!
Can I cancel my order?
After placing an order, you have until 7:00 PM ET the following day to cancel and get your money back.
What if I don't like what I ordered?
We certainly hope that never happens! We're here to answer whatever questions you've got before you place an order to ensure you're 100% happy with your one-of-a-kind design.
