Sahara Canvas is defined by restraint. A rich field of burnt ochre and warm cognac brown forms the backdrop, interrupted only by a handful of abstract geometric details in charcoal, ivory, and muted golden tones.
Handwoven by Berber artisans in Morocco’s Middle Atlas Mountains, the composition feels almost painterly — like marks placed deliberately across an earthy canvas. The generous areas of uninterrupted colour allow the natural variations of the hand-spun wool to become part of the design, creating depth that changes subtly with the light.
Made from 100% hand-spun virgin wool, its dense Beni Mrirt pile gives the surface an exceptionally soft, luxurious character while preserving the individuality of a truly handmade piece.
Sahara Canvas is quiet from a distance and intriguing up close — a sophisticated statement rug for warm, architectural interiors.

Lead Time
Each and every Beni rug is woven entirely by hand and then washed and dried in the mountain air. Current estimated lead times are:
- 274 × 366 cm and smaller: 12–16 weeks
- Larger than 274 × 366 cm: 16–20 weeks
Since your rug is hand-crafted, there will be natural, beautiful variations in pattern and color. These are sure signs of an authentic rug made just for you. Final sizes and pile heights can vary by up to 5% from what is ordered.
Can I return my rug?
All orders are final and we cannot accept returns. Please ensure all measurements, colors, and design are correct before submitting your order!
Can I cancel my order?
After placing an order, you have until 7:00 PM ET the following day to cancel and get your money back.
What if I don't like what I ordered?
We certainly hope that never happens! We're here to answer whatever questions you've got before you place an order to ensure you're 100% happy with your one-of-a-kind design.
