Commissioned and handcrafted in the Sahara, Tamazra is created entirely to order — woven slowly, deliberately, and exclusively for its future owner.
Each mat is constructed from hand-selected desert reed, bound and structured with individually cut leather strips. This traditional Tuareg technique, preserved for generations, produces a surface that is both architectural and deeply tactile.
Its geometry is calm and intentional. Every proportion, every line, every balance exists as part of a greater harmony — one that reflects the quiet vastness of the desert landscape where it is made.
Because each piece is woven by hand upon commission, no two are ever identical. Subtle variations in tone, rhythm, and texture make every Tamazra a singular expression of craftsmanship.

Each and every Tuareg Mat is woven entirely by hand and then washed and dried in the desert air. Current estimated lead times are:
274 × 366 cm and smaller: 16–30 weeks
Larger than 274 × 366 cm: 20–40 weeks
Since your rug is hand-crafted, there will be natural, beautiful variations in pattern and color. These are sure signs of an authentic rug made just for you. Final sizes and pile heights can vary by up to 5% from what is ordered.
Can I return my rug?
All orders are final and we cannot accept returns. Please ensure all measurements, colors, and design are correct before submitting your order!
Can I cancel my order?
After placing an order, you have until 7:00 PM ET the following day to cancel and get your money back.
What if I don't like what I ordered?
We certainly hope that never happens! We're here to answer whatever questions you've got before you place an order to ensure you're 100% happy with your one-of-a-kind design.
